Tasting notes

Rosehip, mulberry, musk sticks and glazed cherries with a subtle earthy graphite note.  Palate is cherries and cranberries, background spices of cinnamon with a twiggy tannin.  Finishes crisp and a little savoury.  Looks fresh and juvenile now but will develop beautifully over the next few years.

• Clones RVC12
• The grapes are exclusively from the Eldridge site, picked from 3 blocks.

Production notes and Chemistry

• One third of the fruit fermented as whole bunches.  The remaining 2 parcels were destemmed and fermented as whole berries and the 3 assembled a month prior to bottling.
• No new oak was used
• No fining or filtration
• Bottled November, 2023
